La Fleur

4×4 acrylic on wood. I’m sitting on my hands waiting for the paint to dry so I can clear coat it. This painting was inspired by the movement I wanted to make with my hands and less about the flowers. I had no idea what it was going to be yet somehow I managed to put my heart in it and it’s recognizably mine. It makes me happy to look at and creates a lighter heart in my chest. It’s influenced by French music and the southern breezes that beat my back as I created it. I call her La fleur .

You ain’t nothing but a

If you love this pup as much as I do then I want you to also know he’s going to a great cause. I will be donating him to auction for the Tupelo Humane Society. The last time I was there I felt so overwhelmed by the amount of animals there and the needs they must face everyday to help care for them. I hope this Tupelo hound will bring as much love to those animals as I have for them.
